Dr. Susan Blum is the Founder and Director of the Center for Nutritional Medicine in White Plains, NY. Her medical practice focuses on the integration of Functional Medicine, Mind-Body Medicine, and Nutrition. She did her Internal Medicine training at St-Lukes Roosevelt Hospital, her residency in Preventive Medicine at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC, and is Board Certified in Preventive Medicine. She received her Masters in Public Health at Columbia University, and her training in Functional Medicine from The Institute for Functional Medicine, in Gig Harbor, Washington in 2001.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Blum is Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, works part-time as a Clinical Integrative Medicine Specialist at the Greenwich Hospital Center for Integrative Medicine in Greenwich, Connecticut, and is Senior Teaching Faculty at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC, and teaches throughout the country in their training programs.

She has a strong interest, both professionally and personally in the importance of stress reduction, good nutrition, exercise, emotional, spiritual and psychological factors, in maintaining health, preventing illness and treating health issues and these considerations become an integral part of each patient's personalized health plan.
